Every object begins with a drawing in Milan and ends with a single fold in Istanbul; in between, there is only the hand. A fold cannot be undone, which is why every piece is numbered.

lume, ansa, vena, plano, dorso, onda, linea, ovo, velo, tondo, sassi, tavola and lastra. Each from a single sheet of stainless steel: designed in Milan, folded in Istanbul, hand-finished and numbered.

A closer look
Every object is a single sheet, folded with care.
No welds, no screws: the fold gives both the form and the strength.

We produce in batches. When a batch sells out the same object may be made again — but every batch is limited and carries its own number. Your piece shows its batch and its place within that batch on the underside, and arrives with a signed certificate. You always know which one you own.
Small batches are a choice, not a constraint. Making seventy to a hundred pieces at a time lets us look at each one by hand: the person who breaks the edge, brushes the surface and packs the box is the same person. Between batches we make small corrections, so no two batches are ever quite identical.
The tray's wavy edge isn't decoration. The curves stiffen the sheet, turning a flat 0.7 mm plate into something that doesn't flex when lifted from the middle. The same edge gives your fingers a grip.
The drawing is finished in Milan, the work starts in Istanbul: cut by laser, bent in one pass on a press brake, edges broken and finished by hand — all in the same workshop. The piece never leaves the building.
Choose the object you want to own; we will write to you 48 hours before it goes on sale on 27 October.

Scratch it or wear it down and the layer simply re-forms. That is why these objects need no plating, no paint and no varnish to refresh; the protective layer is the material itself.
The care fits in one line: soapy water, then a dry cloth. The only thing to avoid is bleach and chlorine-based cleaners, among the few substances that tire the protective layer. For seaside homes and permanently wet rooms we make grade 316 on request.
It doesn't wear out, it collects marks — and those marks can be undone. Stains wipe off, scratches close when re-brushed in the same direction, dents are eased out. For marks you can't remove at home, bring the piece to the studio; surface renewal is a paid service we quote per piece. Nothing here breaks, ages out or gets thrown away; it only shows that it has been used.
The team that draws the objects answers the questions too. Write to us about a size, a finish, or which piece will suit your table; quick answers are in the FAQ. Fill in the phone field only if you would rather be called; writing on WhatsApp works too.
